The Ultra Low Emission Bus Company
Henderson Travel operates one of the lowest emission fleets of buses in the country with an average age of under three years old. Many are Euro 5 standard buses, one of the world’s strictest emission standards.
The fuel consumed by every bus is treated with Envirox, an additive that promotes a cleaner burn of fuel and therefore produces less toxic emissions. This solution is used world wide and has reduced the co2 produced by a bus as much as 11%. Henderson Travel reduce the amount of co2 created by the equivalent of taking 42 cars of the road by using envirox in our buses.
All Euro4 and Euro5 buses in our fleet use a substance known as AdBlue which treats the vehicles harmful exhaust gases, therefore producing a much cleaner and less polluting exhaust.
All chemicals used to clean Henderson buses are bio degradable and therefore no harmful chemicals enter the drains eventually needing treated. Also, special attention has been paid to the amount of water that is used in our bus wash to minimise the amount of water our company produces annually.
As part of our training regime at our “Henderson Travel Bus Academy” drivers must now qualify for the qualification of “Certificate of Professional Competence.” All drivers have one to one training on our new Fuel Efficient Advanced Driving course (FEAD). Our fully trained drivers now drive more economically, saving fuel and reducing pollution.
You can play your part to reduce pollution and help reduce Global Warming by leaving the car at home and using our ‘Ultra low emission buses.’
